Leah is a textile, surface pattern, and home goods designer as well as an illustrator. Her career began in 2008 with a successful Etsy shop which quickly grew to include shops internationally carrying her work and textiles as well as collaborations with brands featuring her surface patterns and illustrations. She then released her first fabric collection, creating a unique and recognizable voice within the industry. She is known for her earthy modern, playful but sophisticated style.
She spent her childhood daydreaming in a small southern town. She splits her time between Austin, Texas and Asheville, North Carolina where she enjoys spending time in nature with her partner and two young daughters. She loves chocolate, sunshine, and caring for her many house plants and garden. Her heart lives somewhere between the Appalachian Mountains and the high desert of the Trans-Pecos in far west Texas.
After taking many years to scale back and shift her focus to her family she is slowly getting back to creating her line of ethically sourced textiles and art objects. Each piece in Leah's collection reflects her unique sensibility and soft color palettes. Inspired by a love of nature she has established a recognizable voice that speaks simplicity and beauty with quirky
and organic themes.
